He defends himself, recognizes his mistakes, he accuses some people but in the end he decides to conduct the opening night because Peter Gelb reassures him: 'Whatever you're doing, just keep it that way. I know she's difficult, but you're doing fine.' ". Well, a little bit lame, if you ask me.
