Not from the concert, but from an all Romanian encounter at Carnegie Hall. At Weil Hall, Laura Tatulescu (soprano, photo. Debut at Carnegie Hall), Vlad Iftinca (piano, photo) and Matei Varga (piano) had their recial, Lipatti and His World, performing works by Lipatti (US Premiere), Enescu, Jora, Ravel, and Silvestri. As Angela Gheorghiu performed at the same time but in Stern Auditorium, they eventually met.
I posted these photos to mark the encounter and to congratulate my four amazing Romanians that make me so proud on their performances. Thumbs up!
