On the occasion of the opening of the historical building, there'll be a Gala at the Bolshoi Theatre on October 28. Angela Gheorghiu alongside with Placido Domingo, Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Natalie Dessay, Violeta Urmana and others were invited to take part at the event. In Romania the Gala will be relayed starting 5pm (local time) in Bucharest (National Opera House), Timisoara (Aula Bibliotecii Centrale Universitare 'Eugen Todoran') and Sibiu (Centrul Cultural Habitus din Piata Mica).
