And so we arrived to the last two parts of this documentary. As I said yesterday, they are about my favorite monastery, Sucevita. It's not too far away from the others. What's so special about it? The scenery first of all. It's surrounded by hills and the peace of mind that I found there I haven't found anywhere else. it's like entering a magnetic field when getting inside its walls.

Secondly, the frescoes on the walls dominated by red and green are better preserved than the other churches as they were finished about 50 years after the others. The number of scenes and personages is higher than in any other church in Moldavia. Unlike most other cases, the names of the painters are known: the brothers Ion and Sofronie, who carried out the work in only one year. More about it HERE.

There are many more things to say about these places. I'm glad that somebody thought of making this film. It has it all: traditions, culture, music, religion, nature, spirituality. Many people told me after posting these videos that they had no idea something this beautiful exists. Well, they are real and these churches have been for the past 450 years or more. The movie gives you just an idea. If you ever happen to be in South Eastern Europe, spend three days in Moldavia, Romania.

The ending is a pray. It's a sort of music that can be heard in churches here. I leave you with Angela and the Madrigal Choir - "Watch and Pray". Thanks for joining this great trip.
