Royal Opera House announced the tour in Japan that will take place in September 2010, in Tokyo and Yokohama. The announcement can be found in "About the House", a magazine that is sent to the friends of ROH once in a while. The article has a big title: Gheorghiu and Netrebko lead Royal Opera tour in Japan. Two productions go on tour:
* Richard Eyre's La Traviata - Angela Gheorghiu, James Valenti and Simon Keenlynside
* Laurent Pelly's Manon - Anna Netrebko and Matthew Polenzani

There'll be a total of eight performaces, all conducted by Antonio Pappano. The article doesn't give precise dates for the operas. But Angela's appearances were posted on her OFFICIAL WEBSITE long time ago:
* 12/09/2010 - Yokohama
* 16/09/2010 - Tokyo
* 19/09/2010 - Tokyo
* 22/09/2010 - Tokyo

The opera houses in Tokyo and Yokohama haven't published anything on the event yet.

A combination of performances, stage rehearsals, insight events, social events with the artists and Company and exclusive day trips to incredible places make these tours an experience to remember. I bet on that! The program is organized by "Travel for the Arts" and on top of the cost of the trip a donation is requested.
